This is the working privacy notice for the current website. Candidate and employer accounts are not open yet. People register, apply, and enquire through forms, and the team manages those records by hand.
Why we collect information
We collect details so Melanin Trader Recruitment can consider a candidate for a vacancy, tell someone about a job category they asked to hear about, or reply to an employer who needs staff.
What we collect
Registration and application forms ask for a name, contact details, location, work history, and a CV. Job alerts ask for a name and an email address or WhatsApp number. Employer forms ask for the business, the contact person, and the role they need to fill.
Who we share it with
Melanin Trader Recruitment uses the information. A candidate's details and CV may be shared with an employer only when that person's skills match a role the employer has asked us to fill. CVs are not published on the website.
How a CV is stored
A CV is saved as a private file, outside the public pages of this site. Only a signed-in member of the team can download it. The file must be a PDF, DOC, or DOCX, and the file contents are checked before it is stored.
How to have information deleted
Send a message through the contact form and ask for your information to be deleted. The team then removes the registration, application, or alert, and deletes the CV file. You can also ask us to correct a detail the same way.
